Well, I am now just sewing for one, or maybe 2 or 3. But I am no longer sewing to earn extra adoption money. I have not actually sold a dress in a long time but I have removed the ordering buttons, today. I made the decision to officially stop taking any orders this weekend. I was sewing a dress for Chloe while Jim was playing with her in the other room. It felt really good to be able to be sewing again but I felt that if I was sewing for anyone other than Chloe, especially someone I didn't know I would start to resent sewing and I don't want to do that. Sewing is an escape for me and I love it but since I will be going back to work next week I want to be able to spend my extra time with Chloe!
I may still take a few special request orders and I hope to make a few special gifts but other than that the sewing shop is closed.
I might just use this blog to showcase my creations. Since I now have the perfect model!
Excuse the drool we are teething like crazy!
Just a preview of what I was working on this weekend.

Cute, cute, cute! I did a little sewing over the weekend and put it in my Etsy shop, but the price hardly makes it worth the time. It was fun though. I plan on just giving away doll dresses on my blog. Keep sewing fun and just sew for Chloe or gifts!! It is easy to get burned out with it!
Beautiful dress and little girl. wish I would have found out this info earlier. Mine would have a few of your creations. enjoy your time with your daughter and congrats.
So glad you are sewing for Chloe! She's adorable in her custom made dress by Mom!
